    Owner

    Fourth-generation builder who started in civil construction—sewer and water—as a union Laborers journeyman. I learned the hard way what matters: doing it right, keeping people safe, and leaving work that lasts. I found my real passion—designing and building luxury landscapes that families actually live in. My company, Moxie Construction, is named after my grandfather’s childhood nickname. In our family, “moxie” means grit, honesty, and pride in the craft. I’m proud to carry that forward—one yard at a time.

    Armando’s passion is building landscapes people love to live in. He came to the U.S. from Guatemala, brought a work ethic forged by family entrepreneurs, and learned business early in his father’s trucking company. With years of hands-on hardscaping experience, he blends craft and care—listening first, then delivering clean lines, solid builds, and a great homeowner experience. He treats Moxie like it’s his own company because he knows the struggle, respects the grind, and shows up every day for the team and the client.

    Project Manager

    West Salem born and raised, Kyle is mechanically gifted and outdoors-obsessed (yes, he still skateboards). He keeps equipment dialed, schedules tight, and punch lists clean—then brings the calm, friendly communication homeowners appreciate. You’ll often catch him walking a client through details because he genuinely cares about the result and the relationship. Kyle’s mix of management skills and good humor keeps jobs moving and crews motivated.

    Senior Hardscape Specialist

    Lencho is the heartbeat of our hardscape crew. With 10+ years in patios, walls, and steps, he’s the first to arrive, the last to leave, and the one who fixes what others would call “good enough.” He shows up on time, double-checks every string line, compacts the base until it’s rock solid, and fine-cuts edges most people won’t notice—but he will. Each project means something to him because when he goes home, his kids ask what he built today. That’s why he builds every patio like it’s in his own backyard.

    Concrete Lead & Finishing Specialist

    Raul brings years of hands-on concrete experience to Moxie, from tight residential entries to full driveway replacements and complex tie-ins. He started on prep crews setting forms and compacting base, worked his way through reinforcement and layout, and now runs pours end-to-end—sequencing trucks, managing the finish window, and delivering crisp, consistent results that hold up.
